Baby & Me Class

Bring your baby with you to yoga and learn how to deepen that connection to yourself and your baby at the same time. Mother/Father and baby move through relaxing poses together as they sing and play. This class is also a great way to meet some other parents in the neighborhood. Babies should be 3 Months to 18 months old.

This class is designed to help students transition from our Level 1 class to a Level 2 class. Postures found in the Level 2 class will be broken down for those students who are still taking Level 1 and have yet to try a Level 2. All are welcome!

Yin Stretch 1 (Babysitting available)

Yin-stretch is a passive yoga class focused on deep stretching of the connective tissue that makes up the tendons, ligaments and joints of the body. Where muscles need fast active stretch, connective tissue needs long, slow, deep stretch. Yin postures are seated or lying floor postures, held for 3-5 minutes. You'll balance out the body, as well as bring stillness and peace to the ever-active mind. A perfect way to balance your more active classes/workouts! This practice is another great non-heated yoga class.

Ra Vinyasa 1 Live Music Flow

Ra Vinyasa 1 Live Music Flow

Ra Vinyasa 1 is an introductory class for students who are new to Yoga. Proper alignment is explained and demonstrated. The instructor introduces foundational postures, breath, and the connection of breath to movement so that as the course progresses, the students move toward linking the poses together into a continuous flow. This special class will show case a musician who will perform live music in sync to the flow of the class.

Baby and Me

When a mother gives birth to her baby, a great bond is created. This bond can be further cultivated and nourished through a yoga practice involving mother/father and baby. Bring your baby with you to yoga and learn how to deepen that connection to yourself and your baby at the same time. You will find that the deeper your connection and self love the deeper your connection you can have with your baby. It gets euphoric. Mother/Father and baby move through poses together as the class is very relaxed and playful.
Pre Natal

Doing prenatal yoga can be a wonderful way to put time aside for yourself and your baby. Although most gentle types of yoga are appropriate during pregnancy, there are a few things to avoid in order to make your pregnancy yoga experience safe and enjoyable. The instructors at Ra will safely guide expecting mothers through poses that can aid during pregnancy.

Ra Vinyasa 1 is an introductory class for students who are new to Yoga. Proper alignment is explained and demonstrated. The instructor introduces foundational postures, breath, and the connection of breath to movement so that as the course progresses, the students move toward linking the poses together into a continuous flow. This class is considered a karma yoga class as it is a free class for all in the community.
 
Babysitting available @ $8 per child or $30 unlimited per month.

Ra Vinyasa Level 2 is a continuation class for the Level 1 course focusing on refining the poses and building endurance in the body. It will offer a balance of strength, flexibility, and endurance to challenge the fitness enthusiast. This class is taught in a heated environment to encourage detoxification through sweat and enhance muscle and joint opening.
