Yoga has been huge a part of Laurie's life since 2010. Her practice has helped her grow stronger, more flexible, fearless and confident, both on and off the mat.

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Master's in Public Health from Cal State Fullerton, Laurie completed her 200 hour Vinyasa training with Ra Yoga After that, she went on to complete her 500 hour advanced teacher training and is trained in every style that Ra Yoga offers. Laurie has completed every training the studio has run and is one of Ra Yoga's Master Instructors. She is very passionate about training teachers and helping them learn about all the various ways yoga can be creatively expressed.

In Laurie's classes, you will find creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. It is her goal to serve as a guide, helping others by nurturing the body, mind, and soul with their practice. It is her hope that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Favorite Yoga Move: 

Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon) I love the feeling of weightlessness when you find your center in this pose. It is like the world has been lifted off your shoulders and you are soaring.
