200 Hour Certified, Hot Ra Certified
I started my yoga journey with a DVD in my living room almost twenty years ago. I have taken breaks through the years to embark on other adventures, including becoming certified as a massage therapist. A stressful career, parenting and life’s struggles always bring me back to yoga time and time again. Whether it be a hot practice, vinyasa or yin I always find something I need on my mat and take it with me throughout my day anywhere from the breath to deeper concepts. I couldn’t ignore the pull any longer and became certified in 2018. I am honored to guide others in finding even a fraction of the peace I have found within my mind and body.
Favorite Yoga Move:
Virabhadrasana III or Warrior III. I feel long, lean and powerful working both strength and balance. I believe anyone can master a version of it, and obtain the benefits to feel powerful!
How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:
I have been able to quiet my mind, connect and align with my most authentic self. Yoga has also made me feel embraced by a wonderful, welcoming yoga community that continues to expand.
Reason Started Doing Yoga:
I first began practicing yoga as a young mother because I heard it was calming. I was sweating and irritated I couldn’t make it through the whole hour. Challenge accepted, it has been a beautiful journey ever since!
