From a very young age I have been guided into a more ‘spiritual’ way of living. At the age of 15 I started to suffer from acute migraines, aching joints, and a weak immune system. Constantly being in and out of the hospital and being told that there is nothing wrong with me brought me to seek something to help bring ease to my body. I eventually found yoga due to a recommendation from an acupuncturist. Little did I know I was embarking along a journey back home to myself. Finally after numerous visits to the hospital i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. A yoga practice formed during the dark night of my soul has brought me to practice and teach yoga. Yoga was the mirror to help me heal from the physical and emotional illness that were prominent in my life at the time and it opened me up to other alternative ways of healing. My intention for teaching is to guide people home to themselves by sharing my yoga practice. Along with yoga I also guide sound and I am a Reiki Practitioner. My style of teaching is intentional, energetic, and intuitive with an emphasis on Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, and Meditation. Along with yoga I also incorporate sound healing into my practice and I am available for private and corporate sound healing, yoga, and meditation.

Favorite Yoga Move:

My favorite yoga pose is savasana! It seems simple at first, but relaxing the mind was a huge challenge. To me it symbolizes, effort, ease, and restoration.

How Has Yoga Benefited You The Most:

Yoga has allowed me to dance in the flow of life. I have a better connection with my body, mind, and spirit.

Reason Started Doing Yoga:

I started doing yoga due to the physical limitations and injuries in my body. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in my early teens and was in and out of the doctors office constantly. Along with dealing with this at the age of 16, I was working corporate for a company and enrolled in college full time. There’s nothing more I needed at this time in my life then to just PAUSE. My yoga practice gave me that opportunity.
